An Electronic Shutter You Can Trust.
The electronic shutter in the Z 9 achieves minimal rolling-shutter distortion, eliminating the need for a mechanical shutter. Shoot at shutter speeds up to 1/32,000 second in complete silence, with no shutter vibration and no concerns about shutter wear.
Become Invisible.
When you need to be invisible, Silent Mode turns off menu sounds and VR Lock minimises lens drive noises. And since the Z 9 does not have a mechanical shutter, you can shoot without a shutter click — or plug in headphones so only you can hear the simulated shutter sound.*
*A simulated shutter sound and release timing indicator can be set as desired.
New Firmware, Greater Flexibility.
This one’s for the video production houses, videographers, and filmmakers. Firmware version 5.10 introduces a new shutter angle versatility as well as customisations for the zebra pattern and information display.
Shutter Mode On.
15 steps of angle to pick from to customise your preferred motion blur in a single frame. Perfect for the filmmakers and cinematographers to choose from an angle of 5.6° for sharpness to 360° for the artistic blur of a subject. The shutter angle can be adjusted from the command dial and is available in manual shooting mode.
