NIKON RELEASES THE WR-R11A AND WR-R11B WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROLLERS
The wireless controllers enable remote shooting and flash photography
SINGAPORE – Nikon Singapore Pte. Ltd. is pleased to announce the release of the WR-R11a and WR-R11b wireless remote controllers which enable remote shooting and radio-controlled Advanced Wireless Lighting (radio AWL)* with Nikon cameras.
Remote shooting and remote flash photography are made easy and smooth with the WR-R11a or WR-R11b connected to a Nikon camera. Radio AWL can also be used for greater flexibility in the positioning of remote flash units. In addition, the remote controllers use radio waves, so they can be used even when there are obstacles such as trees between the transmitter and the receiver. Experience convenience in remote operations as various functions, including autofocusing with a half-press of the shutter-release button and continuous shooting, can be done as well.
The WR-R11a and WR-R11b are ideal for remote shooting scenes that require minimal release time lag, such as studio photography and the capture of moving subjects. Landscape photographers and still-life photographers will be pleased to know that remote flash shooting is also readily available.
WR-R11A/WR-R11B PRIMARY FEATURES
- Short release time lag
- Radio AWL can also be used for greater flexibility in the positioning of remote flash units
- Improved durability with adoption of a hinge that eliminates the need for an adapter when connecting via a ten-pin remote terminal Modification of cable clip specifications to protect the WR-R11b
