Nikon D750, Df, and Nikon 1 V3 are honoured by iF Product Design Awards

The renowned design award for outstanding design quality on an international platform recognises the Nikon D750, Df, and Nikon 1 V3 as recipients of the iF Product Design Awards 2015

 

SINGAPORE – Recognised for its respective design quality, the Nikon D750, Df, and Nikon 1 V3 are the proud recipients of iF Product Design Awards 2015, as announced by Nikon Singapore Pte Ltd today.

This year’s awards saw over 4,700 products from 53 countries being evaluated for its product aspects including quality of design, functionality, degree of innovation, simplicity of operation, and branding. The Nikon D750 and Df DSLR, along with the Nikon 1 V3 Advanced Camera with Interchangeable Lenses, ranked favourably to be among the 1,629 products selected for the prominent design award.

About the Nikon D750

The D750 is a Nikon FX-format DSLR camera that offers an effective pixel count of 24.3-million pixels, and is equipped with a new Nikon FX-format CMOS image sensor and the EXPEED 4 image-processing engine. The D750 supports superior image quality and high-performance features in an agile, lightweight, and slim body. It is the first Nikon FX-format camera with a tilting LCD monitor and built-in Wi-Fi® function for greater mobility.

About the Nikon Df

The Df is an extremely portable, compact and lightweight Nikon FX-format DSLR camera that combines superior image quality over a broad range of sensitivities with intuitive dial operation. The large, metal mechanical dials adopted for the Df enable simple operation with immediate visual verification of settings in a precision body design. In addition, the camera is equipped with a Nikon FX-format CMOS image sensor and the EXPEED 3 image-processing engine, and offers an effective pixel count of 16.2-million pixels.

About the Nikon 1 V3

The Nikon 1 V3 is an Advanced Camera with Interchangeable Lenses that boasts superior moving-subject tracking performance with the world's fastest*1 high-speed continuous shooting rate of approximately 20 fps with AF tracking, and up to approximately 60 fps when focus is locked. Along with a short shooting time lag, the Advanced Camera with Interchangeable Lenses is a lightweight marvel with agility and unparalleled performance. The camera offers an operational system that users of the DSLR will find familiar. It is also equipped with a tilting LCD monitor for flexible shooting from any angle, and a touch-screen panel for simple and intuitive operation. In addition, the Nikon 1 V3 is equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi® function for easy transfer and sharing of high-quality images.
